This is episode 36 of our series going over how we can create a survival horror game using Unreal Engine 4 from scratch. We'll be going over how to create various mechanics built around the game.
Today we'll be setting up the backend for our door and key system. Having said that we'll be diving further into the script and setting up the functionality as listed below:
- Create True/False Bool for HasKey
- Check to see if player has key when opening door
- Change objective based on whet
