This is the first test of the Stepcraft 420 CNC portal milling machine (router). It is drawing the base plate for my octocopter drone / multicopter without the mounting holes.
The software that I used:
- LibreCad for drawing;
- Estlcam for creating the tool-paths and controlling the stepper motors.
Estlcam uses an Arduino for controlling the stepper motors. More information about the connection of the Stepcraft to the Arduino
