Minecraft 1.5.0 released a new block called the Redstone Comparator. This is a tutorial to show some of the basics on how to use it and some of the things you can do with it.
A comparator, in its simplest form, is something that will compare. There are 2 inputs (A and B). If the redstone signal to input A is stronger than input B, it'll output. If input B is equal or stronger, there will be no output.
