Using a Camera filming at 24 frames per second, an Oscillator or speaker moving at 24Hz, (24 times per second) and a water pipe you can create a stationary wave in water.
Equipment:
Oscillator/Speaker
Pipe and Water
Camera (24 fps)
Signal Generator/Tone Generating Software.
If you increase the frequency of the oscillator/speaker the wave will spiral down.
If you decrease the frequency the wave will spiral up into the pipe.
