In early 2014, the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Urban Planning, the City of Niagara Falls, and the New York State Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation established a collaboration to envision and re-imagine the city of Niagara Falls, NY. The three organizations assigned the Urban Design Studio, led by Prof. Hiro Hata, to take the responsibility of the project.
