On 7 April 2018, while the Syrian Army liberated 90% of Eastern Ghouta from the Islamist militants, the White Helmets and other activists posted a video claiming that the Syrian Army used chemical weapons against the civilians of Douma. Back then, the political accusation against the Syrian government led to trilateral aggression by the US, UK and France against Syria.
