Kashan is where the origin lies of the Iranian people. The oldest settlements are from more than 6.000BC. Houses like the Tabatabaee house, the Bourijerdi house and the Abbasi house resemble traditional Iranian architecture and are said to be the most beautiful buildings in the country.
