I capture this video to study how African bullfrog (pixie) catch there food. In the slow motion you can see his tongue first touched the mice right before he bite. Most of the time I do my feeding at a plastic container to avoid eating substrate. I also have a measuring tape, tape under the feeding container to keep track on the size.
