A machine designed to bend steamed hardwood around a formwork.
The machine utilizes mechanical advantage. An input force of 100lbs. applied to the leverage table arm outputs a approximately 330lbs. of force on the wood to be bent. The force is transferred from the leverage table around the length of wood through a nylon strap with a tensile strength of 5500lbs.
