Having used other cherry MX switch before, this was my first time trying the silent switch. As advertised, it's definitely quieter, but still have a good feedback while typing. The feedback is totally linear and at no point there's a feel of clickiness. It does engage quickly so keep that in mind. You will find yourself typing the same letter again especially if you have repeat set on high on your system. It will takes a little bit of time to get use to but once you do
