Sometimes the best rooms to record drums in are also the most unconventional. Last month I set up drums in the middle of Slate HQ and recorded them using three Virtual Microphone System ML-1's. Then, I added our mic models and mixed with plugins from the Everything Bundle. Watch the video to see the recording and hear the results.
