In this tutorial we look at how to use Redshift and Maya to create a double-sided, translucent leaf shader with the Redshift Rayswitch and Sprite nodes.
Key Notes:
- Keep the translucency weight between 0.3 and 0.5 for best results
- Use a Reflection IOR of around 1.3
- Use the Redshift RaySwitch node with the Front/Back option enabled under the Camera section to create a double-sided material
