Some 5,000 people near Santa Barbara were forced to evacuate their homes on Sunday, due to the threat of wildfires, that have been burning across southern California in recent weeks.
Around 200,000 people in total have been forced to flee their homes due to six recent wildfires burning across southern California. According to local media, the largest of the recent wildfires threatening Santa Barbara is now the size of Singapore.
