In this video, I discussed that how to deal/ handle noisy data in Data Mining.
Here are some methods to handle noisy data in data mining :
1) Binning : first sort data and partition into (equal-frequency) bins then one can smooth by bin means, smooth by bin median, smooth by bin boundaries, etc.
2) Regression : smooth by fitting the data into regression functions
3) Clustering : detect and remove outliers
4) Combined computer and human inspection : detect suspicious values and check b
