Land Rover Defender. The Defender is an all-terrain vehicle, produced under this name by the Land Rover manufacturer since 1991, but in a form born in 1983 (the Land Rover 90 and 110), it is itself the direct heiress of the original 1948 Land Rover. The first Land Rover prototype was built in 1947.
