AMD roadmaps have leaked which show that Pinnacle Ridge will hit in 2018, offering a performance uplift, with Vega 20 released in the third quarter of 2018 too. Zen 2 will be known as Matisse, and offer large performance improvements but won't hit until 2019.
Intel's I7-8700K coffee lake processor on the 300-series motherboards have had their first review leaked out, and show a rather impressive performance increase against the I7-7700K and also beats the 7800X in many benchmarks.
