7/8 is complex time signature. It is specific for the Bulgarian folklore.
This time signature could be counted in a several different ways.
In this video I count it like this : 2 beats + 2 beats + 3 beats in each measure. When the tempo is faster it is much easier to count:
1 - - 2 - - 3 - - - ( like the beginning of the video)
