The Orion prototype version of NASA's Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle that was used in the Launch Abort System PA-1 test last year, departed NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center (now Armstrong) in California on June 14, 2011. The truck-mounted capsule was displayed at two museums in Arizona and Texas and an education center in Florida before its arrival at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida in late June of 2011.
