A memorial of 1,418 candles symbolising 1,418 days of the Great Patriotic War was lit on the Krymskaya embankment in Moscow on Wednesday. In Sevastopol the 'Candle of Memory', a solemn ceremony of reburial of the remains of 104 Soviet soldiers who died in World War II, will be held as well.
