A 1-ft long PVC pipe has one end cut at a slant of 45-degrees. Can you make the pipe stand on its slant end? You can do this by placing a bottle of water and shifting its center of gravity towards the other side. Children will understand a great deal about balance and center of gravity with this bottle stand.
