As you put drops of color in glasses with different densities of liquids you see different patterns. In water the color drops settles to the bottom, in glycerine it simply floats on the surface, in a mixture of glycerine and water the color drop hangs all along the height of the glass and in a mixture of acetone and water (least dense) the color drops falls very fast to the bottom.
