A woman gave birth to a baby with two heads at the Hanumannagar Health Post of Saptari district on Saturday.
Nududevi Yadav (23) of Inarwa VDC – 9, who is currently living at Hanumannagar Yoginimai Municipality – 10, gave birth to a two-headed son as her third child.
The baby has an underdeveloped nose, ears and mouth on the second head, but fully developed eyes, Hospital Chief Tarananda Jha said.
Hundreds of people had gathered outside the hospital to have a glimpse of the new-born.
