The precise measurement of the actual level is often difficult in applications in which foam may occur. Usually foam is reduced by sprinkling water from the top of the tank. With the new Advanced Diagnostic functions of the Micropilot a fixed level working range can be defined and thus the sprinkler is only activated if needed.
