This 747-8 Intercontinental was built for Transaero, Soviet Airlines in 2015 and rolled out last August. However, with the collapse of the company and Aeroflot's unwillingness to take up the order, this 747-8i and another were left to be stored at Paine Field, painted in all white.
Many suspected that they would be used for spare parts for the, at the time, slowing 747 production line, or scrapped entirely, but one thing was certain, Boeing was struggling to find a home for them.
