This is a trick I just figured out how to do in anime studio to simulate 3D parallax scrolling. Parallax scrolling is the illusion of depth that is created by objects that appear farther in the distance seem to move slower than objects that you are moving past that are nearer. An example would be if you were traveling in a car,mountains in the distance move slower than the ground right next to the car.
