Iran’s flag carrier Iran Air has signed an agreement for the purchase of 80 commercial airliners from American manufacturer Boeing.
Iran Air’s Managing Director Farhad Parvaresh said the deal was signed with Boeing’s regional director in Tehran on Sunday. He said the contract covers the purchase of fifty 737 and thirty 777 passenger aircraft. The airliners will be delivered to Iran in ten years.
