I have decided to take on a new project: attach a desktop graphics card, an AMD Radeon 6990, with the EXP GDC Ares v7.0 and connect it to my notebook. The Ares 7.0 is an external PCI Express 16x adapter that in this case connects to the notebook via mini PCI Express. Many of these setups are unpredictable and unfortunately do not work for everyone.
